Preview an Email without Marking as Read

The default setting in your email inbox shows viewed email as read, however you have the option to preview your emails without marking them as read.

From your inbox, tap on the gear to access your email settings. Under Appearance and Navigation, you’ll see the option to automatically mark opened or previewed messages as read. When toggled on (blue), viewed email will be considered read.

To preview your emails without marking them as read, simply toggle this option off (white). Tap save in the upper right corner. You’ll see that a selected email is no longer marked as read in your inbox.

To mark the selected email as read, long tap on the email on the left hand side and tap the icon shown as an envelope with a “1”.
