Share a File to a Teams Channel from DMS

One useful function of our DMS and Teams integration is being able to share a file from your DMS to a Teams channel.

Beginning in your DMS (in this example iManage), select a document from a folder. Then tap on the 3 dot menu to the right of the document name. From the menu, select “Share in Teams”.

From the overlay, select the channel you want to save the document to. Tap the upload button to save to the Teams channel. Once saved, you will see a green checkmark for confirmation.

Now open your Teams App and go to the same channel. When you tap the Files tab, you can see the document has been added to the channel.
