Frequent, Recent, and Suggested Contacts

When composing an email in Outlook through the LINK app, a list of frequent and recent contacts is suggested to the user. These lists are derived from previous actions (received and sent emails) and are tailored to each user.

As you tap the To line, “Frequent” contacts appear as the default list and you can select from this list or tap the blue text to select “Recent.”

Frequent contacts are those which you have emailed most frequently over the last 30 days. Recent contacts are the last 20 email addresses that you have emailed. The Frequent and Recent contact lists are adaptive and will continue to update according to user actions.

You can also choose to dismiss the list and proceed with typing in the recipient email address.

When you proceed to add a second email address to an email, the default list will update to “Suggested” contacts. You will then be able to choose between 3 list options - “Frequent”, “Recent”, and “Suggested” - by tapping on the blue text.

Suggested contacts are those email addresses that are most frequently included in correspondence with the email addresses that you have already selected, the idea being that if you normally email a certain group of people, LINK should make it easy to repeat that process.
