External Recipient Warning - Android

Security Feature

LINK has two warnings when you have external recipients on the To, CC, or BCC line on a email.

  1. External recipients will be highlighted in orange or other color.

  2. Confirm External Recipients pop-up, as shown below.

To enable the second feature, in the LINK Controller, edit the Resource for Email and toggle on the checkbox labeled “Display a warning when a message is sent to external senders.”

Admin Settings for External Recipients - in the LINK Controller

To turn on warning for external Email recipients:

-Login to the LINK Controller.

-Go to the Resources tab > Email Resource.

  1. Make sure that the list of internal domains is completed.

    1. Recipients whose domains are not on this list will be highlighted in a color.

  2. Check “Display a warning dialog” to have a pop-up to Confirm External Recipient (see above).
