Emailing a Document: Attachment Format Options - Starting in DMS

 

In LINK you can email a file in multiple formats starting in your email client (see here: Emailing a Document: Attachment Format Options Pop-up - Starting in Email), but you can also send files this way starting from your DMS. Here is a video of this feature: Video

First, go into your DMS and select a file from a folder. To the right of the file name, tap on the ellipsis menu.

Tap on “Send by Email” to expand the dropdown and show the format options. Select one format to initiate the email.

A new email is composed with the file attached in the selected format. You can now choose to attach additional formats.

Tap on the ellipsis menu to the right of the file name. In the menu, under “Send format(s)” you will see the option you selected is toggled on. You can now choose to toggle on additional file formats.

Tap out of the menu and you’ll see the additional file formats have been attached to the email.

Finish composing your email and tap the paper airplane in the upper right corner to send.

 

There is another way to send a file in multiple formats from your DMS. From your DMS, tap on a file to open it. At the bottom of the open file, select the envelope icon from the action menu.

You will be asked if you’d like to email the current page or the full document. Once you’ve selected your option, a new email is composed with the file attached in the default format.

You can then tap on the ellipsis menu to the right of the file name to change the format or select additional formats to attach to your email. Then simply tap out of the menu, finish composing your email, and send.
