Microsoft Teams in LINK (v2 with chat)
Link integrates with Microsoft Teams via the Microsoft Graph API. Link uses these Teams
API services in three ways:
To allow users to easily create online meetings in Link Email. These events can
either by referenced by a hyperlink in a sent email, or by a hyperlink in a calendar
invitation. To allow users to easily access files that are stored in Teams chats. Users may
collaborate on files in a Teams chat channel that they then wish to either upload to
DMS or to share via Email. Both actions can be done from the Link iManage app with
the Teams integration enabled.NEW - users may Share a file from iManage to Microsoft Teams and post a
message to an existing channel with that shared file attached to the message post.
This new feature requires the Graph Permission “ChannelMessage.Send,”
which is not included in the original Teams Azure app registration. If you have
already granted admin consent to Link’s Teams integration, this feature is not
available and should not be enabled in the Link Controller until admin consent to
this new registration is granted.
To access the Teams APIs via Graph, Link must be authorized to do so by an Azure
administrator. Link leverages a multi-tenant app registration created in the Mobile Helix
tenant, and this app must be authorized in each of our customers’ individual Azure tenants.
This app registration requires the following “Delegated” permissions, meaning that each
permission is granted on behalf of an individual user after that user completes an OAuth
authentication with Azure:
To grant admin consent, please click on this hyperlink, authenticate as an Azure global
administrator, and follow the authorization prompt to grant consent:

Clicking on this URL will prompt the Application or Global Administrator to grant consent to
the “Mobile Helix Teams Files and Channels” app registration.
