  1. How to Turn on Integration with OAuth

Both the Zoom and Teams integrations use OAuth to access the Zoom API or Microsoft Graph respectively. If individual users are not allowed to grant permission to 3rd party applications, an admin will need to grant consent.

This is easily done in Zoom by having an admin attempt to use the Link/Zoom integration.

For Teams, follow these instructions:

  1. Open this link in your desktop browser:

https:/login.microsoftonline.com/common/adminconsent?client_id=1cb9e0fc-8257-4ca1-b04e-c894f4bd6a3b

The client ID is the client ID of our Teams integration that we have configured in Azure.

  1. A tenant administrator will need to login and grant the following permissions:

Permission

Reason

User.Read

Allows Link to read a user's profile and get the UUID of that user.

OnlineMeetings.Read and ReadWrite

Allows Link to generate Teams links for online meetings and to modify them.

Team.ReadBasic.All, Channel.ReadBasic.All, and File.ReadWrite.All

For future use to allow Link to move files to/from Teams channels.

Once your admin has granted consent, users should then be able to grant consent as well and to use the Teams integration in Link.
