In February 2024 we introduced LINK Notes - a new application for taking notes, organizing notes, and sharing syncing notes to either OneDrive, Outlook/ExchangeDocument Management, or to a Windows File Share, as the firm chooses.
LINK Notes is included in the LINK App.
Use Notes on iOS/iPad OS and Android devices, then sync to OneDrive, Outlook, or Windows File Shares.
How to Make a Note on Your Smartphone or Tablet
Go to
the LINK Notes
tile.
Tap the + sign to add a file.
Select a Note Type, e.g. Blank Note.

Select an action - in this case we’ll choose Blank PDF Note
A blank note will open (in split screen mode on iPad or full screen mode on an Android Tablet).
Handwrite, type, dictate or draw to create your note.
You may embed images and audio files.
Tap
Once you’ve completed your note:
You can tap in the blue filename field to change the file name and / or save to a folder.
Or you may tap the X in the upper left to exit the note. It will be automatically saved in your Files list with it’s current name.
Save a Note to an Existing or New Folder
Tap in the blue filename field to .
You can rename the
note if you choose.
To file to an exiting Folder, tap on the Folder.
Tap Save.
To file to a new Folder, tap Create Folder.
Type in Folder Name. Tap Save.
Tap the new Folder Name.
Tap Save.
To view the Note, in Browse Folders, tap the Folder from your list.
Tap the filename to open it.
LINK Notes in Outlook
LINK Notes may be synced as PDF files to Outlook.
Go to your Outlook Inbox Folders in Desktop Outlook, M365, or in the LINK Email App.
Note: The law firm IT team will configure LINK to be synced with Outlook/Exchange.
The law firm IT team may configure LINK with Outlook/Exchange, or OneDrive, or with Windows File SharesOur LINK Notes app syncs a lawyer’s notes to a firm-approved repository, including iManage Work®, NetDocuments, and OneDrive. Notes are readily usable from DMS or OneDrive.
